Question (2). How to know the Examinations conducted by the SSC?

Answer : Candidates can access the Examination Calendar from Website of SSC "www.ssc.nic.in" -> Candidate�s Corner-> Examination Calendar. Similarly, from the link candidates can access Model Question Paper, Format of Certificate, Syllabus, etc can apply online, can see result.

Question (3). How to apply for Examinations conducted by SSC?

Answer : The mode & method of application is explained in the advertisement of each exam as published in Commission�s website or published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. Although candidates can apply online for almost all Examinations by accessing the online portal hosted on the SSC�s website.

Question (4). What happens if a candidate submits multiple online applications?

Answer : While a candidate should avoid submitting more than one online application, in case of doing so, the data provided in the last application that is successfully submitted online is accepted by the Commission.

Question (5). In what conditions my online applications form can be rejected?

Answer : Poor quality of uploaded photograph / signature / submission of photograph only, i.e., no signature submitted or photograph submitted at the place of signature, non Payment of Fee, not following all the steps of registration may lead to the rejection of the online applications.

Question (6). How much time is given to the candidates for applying online?

Answer : A candidate gets 3 weeks to 5 weeks time to apply online and can fill up the online application by following the instructions provided on the website for filling up online applications.

Question (7). How many Exam Centers a candidate choose?

Answer : In existing provisions of Examination Notification, the candidates are allowed only one option for centre. However, the Commission is exploring the possibility of allowing the candidates to exercise �Three Options� as Examination Centres.

Question (8). Which category of candidates is exempted from payment of Examination fee?

Answer : Female candidates, candidates with Disabilities and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.

Question (9). What precautions must be taken by candidates for claiming community reservation or reservation for PH?

Answer : Candidates seeking reservation/ relaxation benefits available for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) /Physically Handicapped (PH)/Ex-servicemen (EX�S) must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation/ relaxation in accordance with the eligibility prescribed in the Rules/Notice of the exam. Certificates carried by the candidates should be in the Proforma, as prescribed in the advertisement and in Central Government Format.

Question (10). How to get Admission Certificate (admit card) of Examination?

Answer : The provisionally eligible candidates will get Admission Certificate around two weeks before the commencement of the examination. It will be made available on the SSC website [www.sscwr.net] for downloading to the candidates who opted centres in Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa. If a candidate does not receive his/her Admission Certificate, he/she should immediately contact the Commission on email. Information in this regard can also be obtained from the Facilitation Counter located in the Commission�s Office either in person or over Helpline Nos. 7738422705, 9869730700 or through mail id �[email protected]� and �[email protected]�.

Question (11). Are requests for change of Centre/ Venue accepted?

Answer : The candidates should note that no request for change of Centre / Venue will be granted. While filling in his/her Application Form, the candidate should carefully decide about his/her choice of centre for the Examination. However Commission may allot any centre depending upon availability of centres.

Question (12). What items are banned at the Examination Venues?

Answer : Mobile phones, bluetooth, pagers or any other communication devices and IT gadgets are banned and not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/costly items to the Examination Halls, as safety of such items cannot be assured. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

Question (13). Till what time entry to the Examination Centre/Venue is allowed?

Answer : The gates of the Examination Venue will be closed half-an-hour prior to the start of the Examination& no candidate is allowed inside the Centre/Venue once the gate is closed. Candidates are advised to double check the timing as given in the Admission Card of the Examination.

Question (14). How to get the syllabus of Exam?

Answer : Syllabus of the examination is explained in the advertisement of each exam as published in Commission�s website or published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar

Question (15). How to give online exam of SSC?

Answer : SSC has started taking the online examination for most of the exams for avoiding any malpractice or delay in recruitments. A practice link & video instruction link will be available in website link of HQ and Regional Offices for the better understanding of online process.

Question (16). How to check the Result of Examination?

Answer : Results can be accessed from Commission�s website �www.ssc.nic.in�.

Answer : How to check OMR sheet?

Answer : After each exam a separate notice comes in Commission�s website www.ssc.nic.in regarding OMR Sheet. Please access the website for detailed information regarding OMR with requisite processing fee.

Question (18). How to check the Answers Keys of questions of any SSC Examination?

Answer : The Answer Keys for SSC examination are generally uploaded on the Website of the Commission: �www.ssc.nic.in� after each examination. Candidates may go through the answer keys corresponding to their Test Form.

Question (19). How to challenge Answer Keys?

Answer : Candidates may go through the Answer Keys as uploaded in the Commission�s website �www.ssc.nic.in� and send representations, if any, within the given period of time as given in the write up to concerned Under Secretaries who declared result. Representations received after the due date will not be entertained.

Question (20). What are the cutoff criteria of final selection of Constable (GD) exam?

Answer : The final selection of the candidates is in order of merit in each Category in each State & the result is on basis of different Cut Off marks based upon vacancies in the States.
